Matopat, the first privately owned specialty hospital, has been present in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie district.
Patients can benefit greatly from this advanced healthcare centre, capable of rendering the highest standard in healthcare services thanks to its highly qualified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment.
Our hospital provides specialty outpatient consultations and services, surgical procedures, diagnostic studies and prophylaxis tests.
We are certain that our experience, together with our proficiency and commitment to care, guarantee full satisfaction to our patients – which can be confirmed by thousands of patients we cared for.
You are welcome to learn about the extensive spectrum of diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic offer of the Specialty Hospital Matopat, the hospital that you can trust.
The principal fields of interest of the Specialty Hospital Matopat include general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics and urology. We are also prepared for complex treatment. Our operating general surgeons are all clinicians with many years of practice and experience.
Surgical procedures are performed under general or local anaesthesia carried out by an anaesthesiologist.
Before surgery, the anaesthesiologist and the operating surgeon carefully evaluate every patient; any required diagnostic studies are performed on-site.
We utilise modern methods including video-assisted surgery and other minimally invasive techniques, which, combined with rapid diagnostics, allow maximum reduction of hospitalisation time.
At the heart of our hospital lies the district’s most advanced operation theatre equipped with full air-conditioning. It includes two operating rooms, two postoperative rooms, preoperative rooms and auxiliary facilities. The walls of operating rooms and all adjacent facilities are made of stainless steel, which together with air-conditioning system ensures the highest standard in microbiological cleanliness.
Hospitalised patients are provided with a high comfort standard. There are 24 beds in single or double rooms equipped with bathrooms, telephones, television and Internet access.
The treatment in our hospital is paid. Current prices can be found on our Internet site. These prices cover the surgery, hospitalisation and any necessary diagnostic studies. Every patient receives an invoice for the procedures carried out.
The hospital has a signed contract with the district branch of the NFZ (The Polish National Health Fund) which allows selected procedures to be performed free of charge for the patients insured by the NFZ. Any waiting times for surgeries strictly depend on the limits as set forth by the NFZ.
Our highly selected personnel’s commitment to care, the management and workflow quality (conformance with ISO 9001:2008 standards confirmed with quality management certificates which have been awarded by BVQi) provide safety for any procedure including the most complicated ones, and non-complicated hospitalisation.
The current trends in medicine strongly underline reduction to minimum of the so-called surgical trauma and as a consequence – reduction of postoperative pain, improvement of comfort of recovery and reduction of hospitalisation time. We strive to comply with these standards in caring for our patients. We employ and develop the state-of-the-art techniques of laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery, complying with requirements of minimally invasive treatment. In addition, we carry out standard surgical techniques.
